General Information

Futureminds is a multidisciplinary psychology service offering an accessible and non-stigmatised service for emotional well-being and good mental health. Due to the different components of our business we now operate as Futureminds Social Enterprise Ltd and Futureminds Psychology Services Ltd.  As a social enterprise we can offer a not for profit service to local authorities, health, education and charitable organisations. 

 

Futureminds works with adults, children and adolescents as well as individuals, couples and families.  We specialise in child and adolescent mental health and many of the team have worked within a CAMHS team.  We also work closely with private fostering agencies offering training and support for foster carers as well as direct work with children and conduct parenting assessment as part of child care proceedings.

 

We offer employee assistance programmes to local employers and have been working closely with United Biscuits for several years.

 

We have also been extremely successful in working within schools by creating change for  more challenging students by using a whole system approach. This has created change not only for the child but for whole classes and schools.  We have recently been awared a tender offering group work with several schools within Nottinghamshire as part of the SEAL programme.  

We work in partnership with our clients in a positive, respectful, non-judgmental and anti oppressive manner and believe that all human beings have the capacity the help themselves with the right support and guidance.

Most of our therapists have CRB enhanced disclosure and all are fully insured and work within a professional code of conduct.

 

We offer private and comfortable consulting rooms in the centre of Ashby De La Zouch but are able to offer work within schools or other venues as required.
