General Information
Futureminds offers an accessible and non-stigmatised service for emotional well-being and good mental health. We believe that too often people can enter the mental health service and their difficulties become pathologised resulting in increased dependence on medication and further long term intervention. At Futureminds we have many years experience of working with adults, children and families using approaches and interventions that help clients move forward in their lives.
Our experience has also extended to working in organisations using similar techniques to achieve better working relationships and minimise work place stress. We can offer employers a confidential therapy service for employees on an individual basis, therefore avoiding the need to commit to expensive employee assistance programmes.

We have also been extremely successful in working within schools by creating change for more challenging students by using a whole system approach. This has created change not only for the child but for whole classes and schools.
At Futureminds we recognise the importance of working as a team in order to offer the best possible service and outcome. As a team we offer a range of therapies including: individual counselling, couple counselling, psychosexual counselling, family therapy, emotional freedom technique, reiki, nutrional therapy, homeopathy, psychology, child and adolescent behavioural issues, parenting programmes, human givens and solution focussed counselling.
We work in partnership with our clients in a positive, respectful, non-judgmental and anti oppressive manner and believe that all human beings have the capacity the help themselves with the right support and guidance.
Most of our therapists have CRB enhanced disclosure and all are fully insured and work within a professional code of conduct.

We offer private and comfortable consulting rooms in the centre of Ashby De La Zouch but are able to offer work within schools or other venues as required.
