Bowen Practitioner

As a Bowen practitioner, I am also “hooked” on the technique. While working as a medical secretary I wanted to train as a therapist, but was unable to find one I felt comfortable with until I discovered Bowen. I qualified in 2004 and for the past 18 months have been treating colleagues at the Leicester Hospitals Trust under the Wellbeing at Work scheme.  I am a member of the Bowen Therapists’ European Register, a professional body with a strict code of ethics.  Self-regulation for Bowen therapists is under way and I shall register with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) when it becomes available on 15th February 2010. This is an important step, helping to bring Bowen into mainstream healthcare.
